In science, a law isn't "better than" a theory. Laws are descriptive (e.g., energy is neither created nor destroyed) while theories are explanatory. Both are well supported by evidence (M)
(M)ost metals form an oxide layer when exposed to oxygen. Some are bad, but some "passivate" the surface, protecting it from corrosion (e.g., aluminum)
